What's Happening — and Why
Removing an app can have serious implications for merchants who rely on its functionality. We understand that, and we want to ensure the best possible experience for everyone affected by this transition.Our public Shopify app was originally built to serve a broad range of merchants. However, as we've grown and refined our vision, we've recognized that our true strength lies in delivering deep, tailored solutions — not one-size-fits-all tools.Public apps are built for a mass market and listed on the Shopify App Store, while private apps are custom-tailored solutions for a single store's unique needs. As we double down on serving enterprise and corporate clients, continuing to split our resources between a broad public offering and a specialized private solution is no longer sustainable — or in your best interest.
What You Should Do Before April 1
Follow our recommended timeline to ensure that you have enough warning that the app will be sunset, allowing you the opportunity to find alternate solutions.Here's your action plan:
