Gyms & fitness
Sell the join. Open the door. Keep the regular.
Sell the way your gym actually runs — a monthly membership the regular pays for, a 10-class pack the local trains through, a booked yoga slot the visitor reserved last night, or a 24-hour door code the member uses at 6am — and deliver it to the member’s phone wallet. No new app to install. The pass is the membership, the booked slot, the door unlock, and, on the next visit, the regular you already know.
Built the way gyms actually run
Membership passes for the regular
A monthly membership, an annual subscription, a corporate-wellness slot — issued online or at reception and delivered to the member’s phone wallet. The pass holds the tier, the start date, the renewal date, and the current status. Renewal pushes back to the pass before the period ends; a lapsed membership shows up as lapsed.
Booking passes for the class
A booked yoga slot, a reserved climbing time, a personal-training session — held on the same pass that runs the membership. The reminder pushes the night before. No separate booking app to install, no second login, no follow-up email lost to spam.
Door access on the same pass
RemoteLOCK on the door, the membership pass on the phone. A valid pass unlocks at any hour; a lapsed membership lapses the door within the minute. Every unlock is logged with a timestamp — proof of who came in, and when.
One pass type for every way you sell
| Type | What it is | Typical operator |
|---|---|---|
| Membership pass | Tier, start, renewal, status; scanned at the door at any hour | 24-hour gyms, chain gyms, boutique studios |
| Multi-use voucher | A 10-class pack or 20-session bundle counted down per visit | Yoga, pilates, climbing, boutique fitness |
| Subscription pass | Monthly unlimited; renews on schedule with in-wallet expiry | Unlimited-access gyms, hot yoga, group training |
| Booking pass | A reserved class slot with auto-reminder; scanned at the door | Class-based studios, personal training |
Every pass type runs on one platform — see all features.
From the first visit to the regular at 6am
Sell the join. Every first sale — a membership opened online, a 10-class pack bought ahead, a booked yoga slot, a one-day trial — opens a record for that member. The relationship starts at the sale, not at visit 2.
Open the door. Every scan attaches to that record. The membership stays a membership. The class pack counts down session by session. The booked class closes when the session is done. The renewal pushes itself to the pass before the period ends.
Keep the regular. The member who walked in at 6am in January is the one walking in at 6am in October. No one starts over. The door already knows them — and so do you.
Use cases
- 24-hour unstaffed gyms — a membership pass on the phone, RemoteLOCK on the door. The pass unlocks at any hour, a lapsed subscription lapses access within the minute, every unlock logged with a timestamp. Self-serve OAuth into RemoteLOCK in about ten minutes — RemoteLOCK.
- Yoga, pilates, climbing, and boutique studios — 10-class packs and 20-session bundles sold ahead, counted down per visit. The booked slot becomes the pass; the reminder pushes the night before so the class fills.
- Chain gyms across sites — one workspace runs every door across the chain. The member who joined at the Shibuya site walks in at the Yokohama site on the same pass.
- Personal training and specialty fitness — recovery rooms, pilates studios, climbing gyms; a 10-session voucher or a monthly subscription, scanned at the door, decremented at the counter.
- Google Business Profile and Maps — paste a free-trial pass or class-pack sign-up link directly into a Google Business Profile post. A visitor searching “yoga near Daikanyama” or “24-hour gym Shinjuku” finds the pass one tap from your listing — no marketplace fee between you and the sign-up.
